In 2011 Danone Romania and Norbert Dentressangle Romania have joined forces to create NDL Frigo Logistics to serve the Romanian chilled goods logistics market.
As part of their expansion plan in Romania, they have decided to build a temperature-controlled warehouse close to the factory of Danone, warehouse which will be used for both their logistic operations, as well as an extension of the Danone production facility.
The Second Phase of EOS Park has been an industrial project comprising of a 12,000 sqm temperature-control warehouse, a 1,000 sqm office building and technical areas.
Because the client required integrated expertise on the Romanian market: development-design-construction, a JV has been established between ACMS and Primavera Development; ACMS has been responsible for the design and construction works while Primavera Development for the development tasks such as obtaining the zoning permits.
This project was a real challenge for the general contractor, representing a milestone in the history of ACMS GC, being the first temperature-controlled warehouse.
